Established in the year 1966, East and West Handicraft Enterprise-A leading government-recognized Export house and manufacturer of mens, womens and children’s garments, its forte being young menswear. Since its inception, the company has grown from strength to strength and has carved a formidable reputation for itself globally ( UK, Germany, Portugal, Poland and Ireland).
Our trademark label “CIVILIAN” metamorphosed to its current brand 19SIXTY6. Keeping up with the dynamic global trends we have had a successful stint in the domestic market in India. Our dedicated and creative team strives for an innovative design palette focusing on latest international trends and projections.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Production & Quality Standards
We have a state of the art factory in Navi Mumbai (New Bombay) spread over an area of 10000 sq. feet. With 100 machines employed at our facility our current capacity is 30,000 pieces per month. Factory operations such as cutting, stitching, checking, washing, ironing and packing are in-house which ensures quality control and efficiency by incorporating Total Quality Management.
Sampling & Development
A highly qualified design team is assigned and intensive research is done on market trends to update our clients with new and innovative concepts. Our Design Team extends one stop solution to our valued clients by way of developing Cads in different kinds of fabrics including prints and yarn-dyed in various colorways in order to meet our customer’s needs.
In-house laundry specializing in different kinds of garment washes and value added garment dyeing technology forms the basis of our strength. Pursuing seasonal trends and incorporating valuable inputs from our buyers allows us to tailor-make our products to meet individual customer demand.
Our Clientele
With relationships for more than 15 years with some of our existing buyers, we have a diverse international clientele and leading brands partnering in our success. Among them are Joe Browns, Truworths, EMP Merchandising Gmbh, Reder S.A.S. – L’Homme Moderne, Cofemel Sociedade De Vestuario SA, Carry S.p.o. and Agency International.

We Regularly participate in Garment Fairs in USA, Europe and India showcasing our latest collection to develop new business relations and update existing buyers with new designs and innovations.
