Cooperative Galatea-Varna
Cooperative Galatea-Varna is a Bulgarian sewing company founded in 1945. It specializes in the production of ready-to-wear formal corporate and casual garments to order on a CM and CMT basis. Located in Eastern Europe, our factory produces men’s and ladies clothes – mainly outerwear (coats and jackets), as well as blazers, waistcoats, pants and skirts from woven fabric – for the European Union countries.
There are 100 people working in the company, and its monthly production capacity amounts to approx. 8,000 pcs of garments. Our factory has all the necessary machinery and equipment - ordinary and special sewing machines, welt pocket machines, flatlock machines, Ascolite button sewing machines, embroidery machines, a CAD-CAM system for digitizing, grading and plotting of patterns, cutting equipment, fusing presses, and steaming presses and mannequins.
Our factory also preserves the tradition of making authentic Bulgarian folk clothes.
